Increased Tectonic Activity

The earth is seemingly undergoing a dramatic increase in both the number and strength of earthquake and volcano activity worldwide. While some of that data is credited to an increase in the reporting of such activity, it does nothing to negate the fact that the tectonic plates underneath the surface of our world are showing signs of increasing stress.

Since the year 1900 to the year 2016, a 450% increase in earthquake activity has been registered, and a steady rise can be seen in the data.

Thorne Lay, a professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz, weighs in:

“Between 1900 and 2004, the average yearly rate of quakes magnitude 8 and larger was 0.65. In the past 10 years, that rate jumped to 1.8 – an increase of almost a factor of 3. But only the biggest quakes are becoming more frequent. There isn’t a rise in smaller earthquakes. There’s a big mystery there.”[1]

Volcanic Activity has also increased, as can be seen in this chart, though due to different counts that may or may not include constantly active eruptions, the percentage of increase is harder to deduce.

In the 20th Century, new volcanic eruptions (not constantly active ones) averaged about 35 a year. Certain data suggests that we average around 5 new eruptions per day.

Other resources, such as volcanodiscovery.com list an average of 50-70 eruptions a year, indicating an increase between 150% and 200% since the year 2000.

Increased Meteor Activity

There has also been a rather dramatic increase in the amount of meteor activity seen in our skies. The American Meteor Society, or AMS, has logged an exponential increase in fireball sightings since 2010.

Fireballs are meteors with a brightness ratio above -4, making them brighter than any planet as seen from Earth. According to NASA data, we’ve experienced an increase in recorded fireballs of 180% between the years 2013-2016.

Per AMS data, in 2009, about 600 fireball sightings were reported. In 2016, over 4,800 fireball sightings were reported, marking a staggering increase of about 800%

There has also been an increase in the reporting of bolides (meteors that break apart causing sound and a flash brighter than the moon) and superbolides (meteors that break apart causing sound and a flash brighter than the sun at its most brilliant). The Chelyabinsk Meteor was a superbolide.

According to the AMS, a fireball event witnessed by over 100 people is classified as a “huge fireball event.” In 2012, there were about 6 fireballs classified as a huge event. In 2016, there were about 30 recorded as huge events, an approximate increase of 516%

That means that not only are we seeing a dramatic increase in recorded fireballs, but these meteors are also getting larger, leading to more witness reports of the same fireball, at times over multiple states.

NASA has also recorded an increase of Near Earth Asteroids, or NEAs.

It is a fact that meteor activity is increasing year by year, and no one seems to really know why. Is it because we are passing through an area of space dense with asteroids, or because some object is (gravitationally) hurling them towards us?

 

September 23rd, 2017 – Sign of Revelation 12

A truly astounding event is going to occur on September 23rd, 2017.

It is such a rare event that advanced astronomy software has shown that it has never happened in recorded history, and will not happen again at least in the next thousand years. It may never occur again.

The astronomical alignment is also an exact representation of the picture given in the Book of Revelation, Chapter 12, verses 1 and 2:

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.

The woman in the vision is traditionally associated with Mary, the mother of Jesus. And being a virgin, she is associated with the constellation of Virgo – the Virgin.

On September 23rd, 2017, the constellation of Virgo will have the sun at her shoulder, clothing her in its brightness. The moon will be at her feet. And the constellation of Leo is always above her.

This is nothing unusual. What is unusual is that on September 23rd, the constellation of Leo will be joined by three planets, Venus, Mercury, and Mars. Leo has nine stars in its constellation, but with the addition of the three planets (which appear to us as stars) it will bring the number to twelve. A crown of twelve stars.

In addition, the planet of Jupiter, known as the King Planet, will be at a position inside the constellation of Virgo that is generally associated with the womb of a woman. Jupiter will spend nine months inside the “womb” of Virgo before exiting between her legs as if being born on November 13th, 2017.

Again, this marks the only time in recorded human history that all of these planets come together the way that they will on September 23rd, 2017, giving us a perfect physical representation of the picture received in Revelation 12:1-2.

This remarkable occurrence is most likely one that deserves to be included as another warning sign that something is coming our way.
